Today, Square Enix announced that Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age has reached 4 Million in sales. That includes worldwide shipments and digital downloads.
Dragon Quest XI sold 2 million in the first 2 days in japan then it reached 3 million a week after launch. The game is now available in the west for Playstation 4 and PC. Dragon Quest XI was facing some stiff competition with huge AAA games like Marvel’s Spider-Man, Tomb Raider and Destiny 2: Forsaken but managed to hold its own.
Dragon Quest XI is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch with no release dates confirmed at this time.
