Today, Square Enix Japan have announced that they’ve cancelled three of the four Planned DLC episodes of Final Fantasy XV. The company also announced the departure of game director, Hajime Tabata. Tabata’s last day at Square Enix was October 31st, there details on his departure but the company did post a losses that amount up to $33 million.
Square Enix also announced that their upcoming Final Fantasy XV Comrades multiplayer expansion will launch as a stand-alone game. FFXV: Multiplayer Comrades, will launch on December 13, 2018. Those who already purchased the Comrades expansion will get access to the stand-alone edition for free.
